Eclipse

Her eyes kept sweeping each floor, searching left and right for that one person, yet he was nowhere to be seen.

She needed to focus on the music sheet in front of her, she was in the middle of a public concert and her solo performance was coming next. She couldn’t afford to make mistake, the other members would have noticed and her instructor would have been disappointed.

“He’s coming,” she convinced herself. “He promised, now get your head in the game.”

It was not until her last repetition when she caught a glimpse of him. Dressed in red polo T-shirt and dark washed denim, he was leaning against the railing up on the second floor, directly watching her solo performance. All at once, she wasn’t feeling jittery anymore and couldn’t help but to smile widely.
