And after spending 22 years on earth, I have finally managed to make my own pancakes from scratch and the golden ratio of the main ingredients is…
As you have guessed it, 1:1:1
1 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk and 1 egg. On top of it, you need just need a sprinkle of salt, three teaspoons of baking powder, 2 table spoons of sugar and 2 table spoons of melted butter. Voila! Yummy, fluffy pancakes ready for breakfast!
I think Mommy is really proud of me this year, I have finally gotten a hang of cooking my own meals and experimenting with different types of foods. I made my first batch of dango a month ago, fried my first ever Korean Pancake, successfully cooked prawn risotto, tried other smoothie recipes aside from my usual mixed berries smoothie.
Personally, I am actually proud of myself too. Cooking last year was such a daunting chore. Having to share a kitchen with a flat mate who dominated the kitchen almost all the time was not a pleasant experience. Everyone can tell how much I have been loving the tiny kitchen in my current studio and I actually cooked most of my meals this year with the exception of days leading to major assignment(s) deadline(s) or test(s).
Well, small steps towards the better version of myself. Off to clean my kitchen now! 😀
